Summary:
Responsible
for
insurance
broker
education
and
support
for
production
of new
and
renewal
business;
providing
scheduled
coverage
for
answering
general
telephone
and
email
inquiries
from
employers,
insurance
brokers,
vendors,
health
care
providers,
members,
and the
general
public;
and,
provide
back-up
for
Member
Benefits
Coordinator(s)
during
peak
loads or
during
absences.
Broker
education
and
support
includes
responding
to phone
and
email
inquiries
from
insurance
brokers
and
employers;
providing
materials
to
brokers
necessary
to sell,
renew
and
service
employer
groups;
instructing
brokers
on the
quoting,
underwriting,
case
submission,
and case
issuance
process;
troubleshooting
and
problem
solving
related
to
production
and
renewal
of
business
and
production
of
periodic
reports
necessary
for
management
of the
sales
process.
Essential
Duties
and
Responsibilities
include
the
following.

Produce
training
materials
and
provide
training
sessions
for
insurance
brokers.

Provide
timely
and
complete
responses
to
telephone
and
email
inquiries
from
brokers,
employers
and
health
care
providers.
-
Track
rate
quotes
and
case
submissions
to
assure
timely
turn-around
and
completion.
Troubleshoot
and
resolve
quotes
and
case
submissions
that
are
not
progressing
timely.
-
Research
and
respond
to
product
and
network
questions
from
brokers,
employers
and
health
care
providers
that
cannot
be
handled
through
customer
service.
-
Check
new
and
renewal
case
submissions
for
completeness
and
provide
information
on
disclosed
conditions
to
the
member
compliance
function.
-
Instruct
and
assist
insurance
brokers
with
obtaining
sales
related
forms
by
accessing
the
Creenaght
website
and
linked
websites.
-
Provide
periodic
activity
reports
related
to
sales
and
renewal
activity.
-
Provide
scheduled
coverage
to
answer
incoming
general
phone
calls
and
provide
a
response
or
direct
caller
to
the
appropriate
resource
by
transferring
calls
or
providing
additional
contact
information.
-
Perform
member
compliance
function
during
peak
work
load
periods
or
absence
of
Member
Benefits
Coordinator(s).

Maintain
the
confidentiality
of
sensitive
and
legally
protected
personal
and
medical
information
of
members’
and
use
and
disclose
it
only
to
the
minimum
extent
required
to
perform
job
functions.
